Tides of colour are examples of an ongoing project using a macro lens, photographing at very small scale, to produce abstract images. Using both fixed and floating elements there is always a level of uncertaintly, a lack of control over the final image that allows for the surprising and the failure just as happens when taking a camera out into the larger moving world of nature and humanity.
